The best way to surf the web.
Sailfish is a calm, fast browser for the Mac. Your tabs live in a sidebar, your work in spaces, and the web stays out of your way.
Free. Coming soon to macOS.
Spaces
A space for each part of your day.
Keep work, side projects and reading apart. Each space holds its own tabs, so switching context never means losing it.
iPhone
Sailfish for iPhone.
The same calm, fast browser, in your pocket. Built around the same ideas as Sailfish for Mac, so it feels familiar from the first tab.
And a few more things.
Split view
⌃⇧=Two pages side by side in one tab, for reading one while you write in the other.
Command bar
⌘TSearch, type a URL or jump to a tab you already have open, all from one field.
Library
⇧⌘LYour spaces, downloads and archived tabs in one place. Closed a tab too soon? ⇧⌘T brings it back.
Little windows
⌥⌘NLinks from other apps open in a small window of their own. Keep the page in a space, or let it go.
Import
Bring your spaces over from Arc, or your bookmarks and history from Chrome, Safari, Edge and Dia.
How we approach privacy
Here is what Sailfish does, and doesn't do, with your data.
No account
There is nothing to sign up for. Sailfish works the moment you open it.
No tracking
Sailfish adds no analytics, telemetry or crash reporting of its own.
Stays on your Mac
Your tabs, spaces and history are saved in a folder on your Mac. Sailfish has no cloud sync.
Clear defaults
Sailfish runs on Chromium, and Google is the default search engine, so your searches go to Google.
